The New York Cycle Club presents its annual fundraising classic, Escape New York, on September 20, 2008. Proceeds this year go to Recycle-A-Bicycle and Transportation Alternatives. Starting and ending in Manhattan, scenic routes of 50, 65 or 100 miles take riders over the George Washington Bridge and through the historic West Hudson Highlands. All riders get a chance at ENY Raffle's Grand Prize, a Trek Madone 5.2. Also on tap: a unique giveaway, well-stocked refueling stops featuring H&H bagels, post-ride Manganaros heros, and an exciting Flat-Fixing Contest with prizes by Sugoi.
