  • >>> Volunteer Night in Two locations: We now host two volunteer mechanic nights, both on Wednesdays from 7-9pm.  One is in our LIC location, the other is on our DUMBO storefront.  All are welcome.  Directions to either location can be found on our shops page. (posted 10/01/2008 - 10:31am)

  • >>> Recycle-A-Bicycle events in honor of the DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival 2008: We have a few events planned here at 35 Pearl Street.  First, we will be hosting our second annual youth art show and reception, on Friday, 9/26 at 7pm.  This show will feature pieces made by NYC youth with recycled bike parts and inspired by a passion for bicycling.  The reception is generously sponsored by ReBar.    Next, the artist, Taliah Lempert,  will be selling her work in front of our retail space on Saturday 9/27 and Sunday 9/28.  Also, on Saturday,  from 2-4pm, we will be hosting a free art workshop for kids in front of our DUMBO store, dry weather only.  Check out a full schedule of art festival events in the neighborhood here.
